METHOD :
Preheat oven to 200ºC.

In a small bowl mix together cocoa, coloring, and 1 tsp of vanilla essence to form a paste.
Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, add the second tsp of vanilla essence. Beat in cocoa paste.
Add flour and salt and mix until just combined.

Spread into a greased pan and bake for 25 – 35 minutes or until skewer inserted comes out dry.
Cool completely before frosting.
WHITE CHOCOLATE FROSTING :

115g white chocolate, MELTED
½ Tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla essence

Cream butter until fluffy. Add vanilla essence, slowly add icing sugar. Then add melted chocolate. Add milk and mix to get desired consistency.
